Over the years, I've had the good fortune to work with some incredibly smart and talented people on a bunch of different things. Here are a few of my favorites.

Google News
From 2020-2024, I led the UX team for Google News, a 40+ person cross-disciplinary design team responsible for News on Search, the Google News app, and enterprise tools including a new suite of Generative AI products for local news publishers.
Google.org
In 2024, I embarked on a six-month fellowship to lead UX efforts for Google.org's first GenAI Accelerator program, an incubator supporting 21 non-profit organizations. I was especially proud of the work we did on scaling mental health services in crisis zones.
Google Privacy+
From 2024-2025, I led UX efforts for Privacy+, a Search team dedicated to giving users control over their personal information, including a hugely successful reboot of Google's flagship "Results About You" product.
From 2018-2020, I led a 28-person UX Research team focused on helping improve the user experience on Instagram by developing better mechanisms for users to search for and discover their interests, and enabling creators and small businesses to grow their presence on the platform.
Etsy
From 2013-2018, I built and led a series of teams at Etsy, including at various times UX Research, Design Systems, and Design Strategy.
Led UX initiatives across a range of different projects, including a wholesale re-branding and redesign of Etsy.com and the launch of several "0 to 1" new product initiatives.
The New York Times
From 2007 to 2013, I held two different roles at the Times: first as a design lead where I drove the creation and launch of the first NYTimes iPhone app; and then as UX Research Director, where I led the research track for the Times' digital subscriptions, as well as a series of new "0-1" product launches.
